Spring is coming and it is time to spend some time BBQing with friends in the backyard. But when you open your grill you find a really disgusting mess.
This cleaning method is very easy and you can do it without the help of a cleaning maid. Remember that you need to be careful with it. The two things you need are household ammonia and a garbage bag. Pour one cup ammonia in a thick garbage bag and place the grate in it. Then seal it tightly (with rubber band). The fumes from the ammonia is what gets your grate clean. But you have to be careful because the fumes can make your eyes burn. If you do not seal your garbage bag tightly the fumes will escape and your grate will not get clean. Place your bag in the sun and let it sit there until the following day. Make sure the bag is sealed tight enough because the ammonia can harm the surrounding environment. When the grate has remained in the ammonia for a day you need to open the bag. The Poison Control Center recommends disposing your ammonia down a sink such as a garage sink where there is a good ventilation.
When your BBQ grill is clean, you are ready to PARTY !!!
