Ok, we know how irritating it may be to walk in your kids’ bedroom and see those red-ish stains on the white carpet. Kool-Aid is to be blames for them, not your children. And don’t worry, we have found the right way to get rid of the colourful mess. Let’s get it started now. If the stain is still wet pour club soda on it and cover is with a towel. Try to extract as much liquid as possible and be very careful not to rub it as you may drive the stain deeper into your carpet. Heat up your iron to the highest possible setting (on cotton mode). While you’re waiting mix equal parts ammonia and hot water in a spray bottle. When you’re ready generously spray the solution on the stain and then lay a white towel over it. Do not use coloured towels as the colour may transfer to your carpet. Iron the white towel while the carpet is still wet from the mixture of ammonia and water. The stain will begin to transfer to the towel. Spray again if needed and change the towel when it gets too coloured. Repeat this process until the stain is gone. The final step is to leave the carpet to dry completely and then vacuum to restore the softness. Good luck!
