Hello again! As it turns out, there are even more hidden tricks which could make home cleaning easier and faster. Here is the third part of our useful suggestions:
1. Olive oil as stainless steel cleaner – put a little oil on a terry-cloth rag and use it to remove streaks from the steel. Make sure you shine it with a dry paper towel afterwards.
2. Lint roller as handbag cleaner – there are always coins, dust and notes left in your bag when you decide to use a new one. Before storing it in your wardrobe just run a lint roller over the lining and make sure it is completely empty and clean.
3. Hairspray as lipstick stains remover – if the fabric is washable, put hair spray on it and make sure the stain is saturated. Leave it for 10 minutes and then dab with a damp towel or sponge to take the colour out. Launder it as usual to remove any residual stains and spray.
4. Aluminum foil as glassware scrubber – make a nice ball from aluminum foil and use it to remove any baked-on food from your glass pan or oven rack.
5. Baking soda as silver polish – wash items then place place aluminum foil on the bottom of a pan. Make a mixture of ¼ cup baking soda, a few teaspoons salt and one quart boiling water. Put our silver object in the pot and add the mixture. Cover it for a few seconds and the result will be amazing.
6. Broom as long distance duster – no more acrobatic acts! Put a microfiber rag on your broom and secure it with a rubber band. Use the long handle to dust out areas your arms cannot reach.
