Here are some easy tricks to clean your dirty shower quickly. It is known as one of the biggest challenges, because of the common types of dirt: soapy film on the tub, dingy grout or sluggish drain and clogged showerhead. These cleaning steps will help you to make it gleam. These are three of the fastest cleaning tips.
1) Destroy scum and mildew – First of all open a window or at least a door to ventilate the room. Next thing is to separate the shower into three vertical parts – this will prevent the cleaner from drying before you wipe it. Spray the first section, covering both tile and tub and give your tube-and-tile spray cleaner a few minutes to penetrate. While you are waiting, spray the second section, and then leave it to soak and start cleaning the first one. Wipe down the first area with a sponge with no-scratch scouring pad and then rinse the sponge and the area. When the first section is done, spray the third and wipe and rinse the second one. For any grout stains, mix one part bleach and two parts water in a spray bottle. Give it a few minutes to soak and then turn on the shower for a minute so it can self-rinse.
2) Clean the drain – It is unpleasant when you stand in a puddle because your drain’s stopped up. Most likely the clog’s culprit is hair. Pull out any clumps of hair and mix 1/4 cup ammonia in a quart of boiling water, then pour it into the drain to dissolve soap coating the pipes.
3) Refurbish the spray – When the showerhead is shooting water in all directions, the main problem is that its holes are probably clogged with minerals. Take the scrubber sponge you used for the tile and wipe the dry remains from the holes. If it is still not spraying straight, try this mixture: equal parts white vinegar and water (you'll need about 1 cup), and pour it into a plastic bag. Put the bag around the showerhead and make sure it is tight enough around the holes. Give it around 15-20 minutes to soak (if you can leave it up to an hour). When it is done – remove the bag, wipe away all debris and run the shower on hot to flush the holes.
