Cleaning Windows using vinegar and newspapers

Cleaning Windows using vinegar and newspapers - Cleaning Tips
Cleaning Windows using vinegar and newspapers

Using simple day to day items could bring great results in cleaning you windows.

Old newspapers and a bit of vinegar dissolved in water creates a great combination that will do miracles to the windows of your house. No matter how clean our windows seem to be just run a white tissue across the glass and look at the results. Hard to be seen very fine dust forms a layer on the glass that hides the shiny transparent effect of a perfectly cleaned glass.

  • In 5 L of water pour  approximately 80-100 ml of vinegar. Please make sure that you are using newspaper printed with ink that will not dissolve and leave marks. If you do not have such newspaper, please do not use the alternative as it will make a big mess, simply take some kitchen paper.
  • Dip the newspaper or kitchen paper in the water but do not soak it.
  • Wipe the glass with the damp newspaper and take a dry piece to polish the glass straight away.

Use the same technique for your mirrors as well.
