Vinegar has strong effect on lime scale.

As it is powerful acid it can be used to remove lime scale build up at bottom of a glass, vase or to clean the kettle.

  • Pour white vinegar in the the vase and leave overnight. If possible use cloth or a brush to wipe out any lime scale left.
  • The Vase then must be washed thoroughly with water.
  • You now have a nice and clean vase, kettle, glass or any other item that may have had some limescale built.

If need to repeat the process. Please be aware that although acid, vinegar is not very strong and it may need long time to dissolve the limescale especially if it is a very thick layer, leave for longer if necessary.
